On 4th December 2022 David O’Connor, Steve Prinn and Ray Chaplin traveled to Chantry Bowmen of Rotherham to take part in the Audrey Lawrence Double Worcester Tournament. In a tight fight for positions at the top of the leader board there were three archers all vying for second place, this had to be decided on count-back of whites. David was successful with 88 whites. Third place was taken by an archer from Assheton Bowmen with 85 whites, which unfortunately push Steve off the podium by the narrowest of margins as he had 84 whites.
However Steve did not leave the tournament without a medal as he and David were joined by Ray Chaplin to form the Recurve Team who went on to win the Recurve Team event with a score of 1646.
