Where and when we shoot
We meet regularly throughout the year
During the outdoor season we shoot at York RI Sports Ground, New Lane, Holgate, York. Our regular shooting times are Wednesday and Friday evenings, normally commencing approximately 6:30 pm depending on the light levels, and we shoot through to dusk.
We also have use of the field at other times via a separate arrangement.

During the indoor season we shoot on a Monday evening in the Sports Hall of Askham Bryan College. We also have use of Acomb Methodist Church Hall on Friday evenings. Sessions assemble at 6:50 pm at both venues.

Three venues across York
The club is based at York RI Sports Ground, New Lane, Holgate, York, North Yorkshire. This is a suburb of York about one mile west of the city centre.
We enjoy the facilities of the Clubhouse and Sports Ground where the club practices outdoor target archery and clout, using recurve, barebow, compound and longbows.
We shoot indoors at the Sports Hall of Askham Bryan College through the winter. The college is situated at the junction of the A64 and B1237, to the west of York.
We shoot indoors on Friday evenings at Acomb Methodist Church Hall, 40a Front Street, Acomb, York.
